Learning
Curriculum planning, lessons, resources, assignments, assessment, feedback, progress and relief preparation.
Built for New Zealand schools
ClassKea brings teaching, learning, communication, student support and everyday school operations into one clear platform—for staff, students, parents, caregivers and school leaders.
What matters now
One school day. Too many systems.
Each person receives a view designed for their role, while required outside systems can connect quietly behind it.
Platform
Six connected areas, organised around the work schools already do.
Curriculum planning, lessons, resources, assignments, assessment, feedback, progress and relief preparation.
Messages, announcements, family communication, reminders and urgent alerts controlled by school permissions.
Timetables, calendars, attendance, events, bookings, live changes and relief cover.
Attendance follow-up, positive achievements, learning support, goals, wellbeing workflows and privacy-controlled records.
Enrolment, people, forms, permissions, trips, payments, reporting and school configuration.
Curriculum coverage, staffing, approvals, school priorities, data quality and contextual reporting.
Made for people, not job titles
Use the tabs to explore how the same school becomes clearer for each person.
Designed around the role
Move from the timetable to the lesson, roll, resources and reflection without losing class context.

Primary and Secondary Modes
Composite and area schools can combine both modes.

Connected workflows
Keep curriculum, lessons, assignments, feedback and reflection connected—so useful work can flow forward without overwriting an approved source.
Keep an incomplete roll separate from a confirmed absence, with clear follow-up and a controlled way for families to respond.
Gather approved lessons and resources into a temporary, limited-access relief pack that expires with the assignment.
Share one platform without giving everyone the same dashboard—or the same access to school information.
Existing technology
Schools can use ClassKea tools directly, import existing data, connect required systems, keep a defined source of truth and export their information.
Privacy, security and accessibility
ClassKea is designed toward New Zealand school privacy and security expectations and targets WCAG 2.2 AA. These are engineering targets, not claims of legal certification.
Role, school, verified relationship, scope, action and context work together.
Parents and caregivers see only verified linked children and approved information.
Important changes are auditable and privacy levels limit exposure.
It is not sold or used for advertising, and schools can export their information.
Join the ClassKea pilot
We are inviting New Zealand schools to register interest in the ClassKea pilot. Tell us about your school and the problems you most want one platform to solve.
